This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is excellently located on the Rue Meynadier in the centre of Cannes, minutes away from the famous Croisette with its chic boutiques and private beach clubs. It has a small balcony with lovely views of the port!

The apartment is situated in an old Cannois building dating back to the early 20th Century and is on the first floor. The area is typically French with bustling restaurants and cafes on the Rue Meynadier. The decor is modern and tasteful.

The apartment has an open-planned reception room that has a sofa-bed, coffee table, a dining table with 6 chairs. This room opens out on to a small balcony which looks over the port and the sea. There is also a TV/DVD player.

The Kitchen is fully fitted with a microwave, a hob, an oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is enough crockery for 6 guests.

The main bedroom has one double bed, a fitted wardrobe, a TV/DVD player fixed to the wall. This bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom with a shower and a bath.

The second bedrooms has 2 single beds and has also an en suite bathroom with a shower.

  • ““If you want to soak up Cannes life day and night, then this is an ideally located apartment. It is situated on the Western end of Rue Maynadier amongst bustling restaurants. A minute or two's walk east down Rue Meynadier brings you to bustling boutique shops, and a minute's walk around the corner brings you to the fantastic Forville market (fresh produce) surrounded by excellent coffee shops and boulangeries. A minute's walk west of the apartment is Le Suquet (Cannes' old town) which is great for a gentle walk or for its plethora of excellent restaurants in a very romantic setting. From the little balcony, the old port is seen with all the luxury motor and sail yachts. 10 minutes walk up the hill brings you to the old fort with panoramic views over Cannes and surrounding coast. Whilst the immediate vicinity of the apartment is dominated by bustling joie de vivre, the apartment is very well soundproofed and we (including our 3.5 year old daughter) were not bothered by noise at all. The air conditioning means the doors and windows may be kept closed whilst maintaining a comfortable temperature. The apartment is very well appointed and would suit a cost conscious self-catering break as much as a more indulgent diet of quality restaurant fare. We have stayed here twice and we will be returning. We usually prefer quieter, out of the way accommodation, but this apartment has an enviable balance of secludedness with the full buzz of Cannes literally on its doorstep. A real gem.””

The photos on this site do not do justice to the pleasantness of the place, except to show the well-designed layout and convenient facilities. It is clean and well-maintained, and full of French charm. The management was attentive to our needs without imposing on our privacy. But one doesn't visit Cannes simply to stay inside, and the central location was superb for touring, with picturesque walks in every direction - up to the cathedral for a panoramic view of the seaside, or down to the beach for a stroll along the boardwalk. The businesses and restaurants around the apartment were well-run and clean. (Evidently there have been some changes because the complaints made by the other reviewer simply do not hold up anymore). Truly, I can recommend this apartment to my friends without any reservation – except for the one they make with the management, of course!”
